The uncertainty of emissivity has a major effect on the accuracy pyrometer in billet temperature measurement. In order to eliminate influence emissivity, we place reflector with two apertures at front pyrometer. are used measure intrinsic radiation and approximate blackbody billet. is collected by infrared dual-band detectors Then, real-time can be measured no assumptions, so eliminated. addition, measurement analyzed based ray-tracing method. developed verification implemented. Compared reference material same temperature, errors 0.021 0.005 wavelengths. install medium plate rolling process for thermal imager process, fluctuation reduced obviously. It indicates that method very effective
